Who you are buying from

Shan Tea House is operated by Kominsys LLC. These terms apply to every order placed through this site. By placing an order you agree to them.

The tea

We describe our tea as accurately as we can. It is a natural product: the colour of the leaf, the amount of golden flowers and the taste vary from brick to brick, and our tasting notes are our own impressions rather than a promise. Photos show the product, but your brick may look a little different. The brew guide is guidance; take care with boiling water.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Each brick is $20.00, and shipping is a flat $7.50 per order. Any tax we are required to collect is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place your order.

Orders

Each order can hold 1 to 10 bricks, shipped to an address in the United States. If we can’t fill your order, for example because we have run out or a price was shown in error, we will tell you and refund you in full.

Shipping, returns and refunds

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any protection the consumer law of the state where you live gives you.
